Role Description
The Occupational Health and Safety Consultantant is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting clients in developing, implementing, and maintaining effective health and safety programs.
The role requires travel to sites nationwide. Our HQ is based in Kilcormac, Co Offaly but work from home is acceptable where the candidate has appropriate home-working facilities.
The candidate would be responsible for their own time and scheduling of their own workload and will report to the Managing Director.
Day-to-day tasks include conducting risk assessments, reviewing workplace procedures, and advising on compliance with relevant legislation and standards. The Advisor will investigate incidents and near misses, prepare clear reports with corrective actions, and track the implementation of recommendations. The role involves delivering safety training and toolbox talks, creating safety documentation and policies, and providing guidance to client management and teams on best practices.

Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in the Utilities and Water Industry
- Accident Investigation and incident reporting, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Relevant professional certification or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Ability to interpret legislation and standards, write clear policies and procedures, and communicate guidance to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for documentation, reporting, and virtual meetings; experience with consulting or multi-site support is an asset.
- Full clean driver's license essential
