About The Role

As an Occupational Therapist (Advanced), you’ll:

  • Deliver evidence-based therapy to people living with disability
  • Support customers to achieve meaningful goals through a person-centred approach
  • Complete high-quality Functional Capacity Assessments that support meaningful outcomes for customers
  • Manage your caseload with flexibility to shape your day and areas of interest
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team using the key worker model
  • Provide therapy across hub and community settings
  • Build strong partnerships with families, schools, hospitals and other support networks
  • Mentor and support less experienced clinicians, sharing knowledge and contributing to clinical capability across the team
  • Use your clinical expertise to contribute to continuous improvement and best-practice service delivery

About You

To Be Successful, You'll Have

  • Demonstrated experience as an Occupational Therapist, ideally supporting customers with complex needs
  • Strong experience completing Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs)
  • Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced clinicians is highly regarded
  • A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • A current driver's licence and willingness to travel for community visits
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance and First Aid (or ability to obtain)
  • Australian working rights
