About SkyNRG and Project Wigeon
Since 2009, SkyNRG has been a global leader in Sustainable Aviation Fuels. The company is dedicated to increasing SAF demand and production capacity for the industry to meet its 2050 net zero commitment. SkyNRG has supplied SAF to over 40+ airlines and 70+ corporates across the world and is now developing dedicated SAF production facilities to support the transition from fossil jet fuel to sustainable aviation fuel. SkyNRG does not compromise when it comes to sustainability; we are a globally recognized Certified B Corp™, our operations are certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB), and we are advised by an independent Sustainability Board, as well as a worldwide NGO network, to ensure we make the right sustainability decisions across all our operations.
Collaboration is fundamental to achieving our ambition. We nurture genuine relationships with global partners in our drive to make SAF the alternative to fossil jet fuel.
This will be our legacy for future generations.
At SkyNRG, you’ll find:
An innovation-driven culture – where big ideas turn into real impact
Growth opportunities – in a fast-scaling, industry-changing company
A collaborative team – where your ideas and expertise are valued
A mission that matters – leading the change in the energy transition by producing and supplying high-integrity SAF
Project Wigeon is SkyNRG’s flagship U.S. Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) initiative, focused on building one of the country’s first commercial-scale facilities dedicated to producing sustainable aviation fuel from renewable natural gas. Located in Washington State, Project Wigeon leverages cutting-edge technology, strong regional partnerships, and SkyNRG’s global leadership in SAF development to accelerate the transition to cleaner air travel. As a contributor to the project, you’ll help shape an effort that supports climate goals and the long-term sustainability of aviation for SkyNRG in North America.
About the role
You’ll be a key member of the Project Wigeon team and the SkyNRG Deal team, focused on closing long-term commercial deals in support of Project Wigeon. Working at the intersection of commercial strategy, finance, legal, and technical teams, you will drive negotiations with major airlines, fuel suppliers, and corporates.
Your expertise in complex deal structuring, financial modelling, and contract negotiation will be essential in progressing projects from Heads of Terms (HoTs) to fully executed offtake agreements.
Your collaborative spirit will be crucial as you partner closely with colleagues across the Amsterdam-based Deal Team, Wigeon project team, legal counsel, and senior leadership, while acting as a trusted business partner to external stakeholders and clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
Structuring and negotiating long-term offtake agreements within complex commercial, financial, and technical environments
Leading end-to-end commercial deal processes, from initial engagement through to contract signature
Managing relationships with international off-takers, including airlines, fuel suppliers, and corporations
Acting as the key interface between project teams (technical, operational, finance) and the commercial deal process
Preparing high-quality materials for internal decision-making (e.g. Executive Committee and Board)
Collaborating on complex financial models to support deal structuring and negotiations
Coordinating with legal teams to translate commercial agreements into contractual documents
Managing internal and external stakeholders, including advisors (legal, financial)
Supporting coordination of inter-company alignment across related projects, helping ensure a cohesive commercial strategy.
Driving progress toward key milestones such as HoTs, Final Investment Decisions (FID), and contract execution
Communicating and collaborating with other teams within SkyNRG, particularly the commercial teams working on other SkyNRG projects.
Representing SkyNRG at industry conferences/events.
Other duties as may be assigned.
