Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced OMS Developer to design, develop, customize, and support Order Management System (OMS) solutions for a retail and e-commerce environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in order management workflows, system integrations, and backend development, with an understanding of retail operations. Experience working with payment modules and payment gateway integrations is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain OMS applications supporting end-to-end retail and e-commerce order processing.

Develop and customize order management workflows covering order capture, validation, sourcing, allocation, fulfillment, cancellations, returns, and refunds.

Build and maintain integrations between OMS and e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, ERP, warehouse management systems (WMS), and shipping or fulfillment applications.

Develop APIs, services, and interfaces to support seamless data exchange between enterprise applications.

Implement and support payment-related workflows, including payment authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, voids, and payment status reconciliation.

Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes to improve system reliability.

Optimize application performance, data processing, and order transaction flows.

Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, architects, and other development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, deployment activities, and release support.

Maintain technical documentation and follow established development standards and best practices.
Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience developing and customizing Order Management System (OMS) solutions.

Good understanding of retail and e-commerce order lifecycles, including order capture, fulfillment, cancellations, returns, and refunds.

Experience with backend development, APIs, web services, and enterprise system integrations.

Strong programming and debugging skills in the technologies relevant to the client's OMS platform.

Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, database queries, and SQL.

Ability to troubleshoot complex application issues and support production environments.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
