About the Role

We develop new mortgage education throughout the year, and our need for instructors varies depending on upcoming courses and production schedules. Because of that, this posting is intended to help us connect with talented mortgage professionals who may be a great fit for future training opportunities.

If you have mortgage expertise, enjoy teaching, and think you could make required mortgage training something people might actually want to watch, we'd love to hear from you.

Please submit your resume along with any information that helps us get to know you as a presenter. If you have examples of previous training, webinars, podcasts, presentations, or on-camera work, feel free to include them.

What You'll Do

● Work with other instructors to create natural, informative discussions that connect regulatory requirements to real-world mortgage situations.

● Review course materials before filming and prepare to confidently discuss assigned topics.

● Partner with internal trainers, subject matter experts, and course developers on course topics, examples, case studies, and learner engagement.

● Apply mortgage industry experience to help learners understand not just what a rule requires, but how it affects their day-to-day work.

● Provide subject matter input to help ensure educational content is accurate, relevant, and practical.

What We're Looking For

● Professional experience in mortgage lending, mortgage compliance, mortgage operations, or a closely related area.

● Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.

● Ability to explain complicated mortgage or regulatory concepts in a way that's easy to understand.

● Comfortable speaking conversationally rather than simply reading from a script or presentation.

● Ability to prepare for assigned topics and speak confidently and accurately about the material.

● Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with co-instructors, course developers, and production staff.

● Genuine interest in helping mortgage professionals learn and succeed.

Even Better If You Have

● Experience teaching, training, facilitating, public speaking, or presenting to groups.

● Experience presenting or teaching on camera.

● Experience developing mortgage training or compliance education.

● Experience with NMLS-approved PE or CE.

● Knowledge of adult learning principles or instructional design.

● Experience writing courses, assessments, learning objectives, or other educational materials.

● Experience in mortgage compliance, regulatory examinations, licensing, quality control, or risk management.

● Learner-Focused Communication – Explains complex concepts clearly and connects course content to practical situations mortgage professionals encounter in their work.

● Creative Communication – Brings educational content to life through personality, conversation, real-world examples, and strong presentation skills.

● Collaborative Delivery – Works effectively with co-instructors, Training, and Production to create cohesive, high-quality educational experiences.
