Job Summary
The OnCore Calendar Analyst supports the configuration, maintenance, and quality assurance of study calendars within the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS), Oncore. The OnCore Calendar Analyst is responsible for building calendars in the OnCore CTMS, including calendar amendments, in accordance with established guidelines and procedures. The OnCore Calendar Analyst interprets clinical research protocols and related study documents to build accurate study calendars and manages vendor-performed calendar builds through quality checks and implementation of institutional standard operating procedures.
As a member of the Research Systems & Coverage Analysis Unit within the Office of Clinical Research, the OnCore Calendar Analyst works collaboratively with coverage analysts, finance teams, vendors, support staff, and other OnCore users to support clinical trial workflows. The position also supports end-user training, performs system testing and troubleshooting, and supports testing of calendar workflows in Epic.
Responsibilities
- Builds and configures study calendars in OnCore based on research protocols and related study documents.
- Processes calendar amendments in accordance with established guidelines, procedures, and institutional requirements.
- Audits vendor generated calendar builds for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with institutional requirements and SOPs.
- Implements institutional SOPs related to OnCore calendar configuration, quality assurance, and related workflows.
- Performs system testing and quality assurance of calendar and application functionality during upgrades and enhancements.
- Troubleshoots and tests calendar build and subject management issues in OnCore.
- Provides technical support to coverage analysts, finance specialists, and other OnCore users regarding calendar functionality and related workflows.
- Provides ad hoc reporting to Research Systems & Coverage Analysis Unit leadership.
- Assists in developing learning tools and reference materials for OnCore calendars and related functionality.
- Coordinates department or clinic compliance with a moderate level of guidance.
- Prepares, completes and submits all compliance documentation on a routine basis. Coordinates compliance committee meetings.
- Performs other related work as needed.
