Online Adjunct - College of Nursing and Health Sciences

United States University is looking for experienced Online Adjunct Faculty to join the College of Nursing & Health Sciences. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Asynchronous teaching in a virtual environment with a diverse student population Engage students in meaningful asynchronous threaded discussions at least four days per week, evaluating responses and responding to questions or comments Evaluate students' course content comprehension through grading of assignments, quizzes, papers, or presentations Bring your real-life experiences into the classroom through announcements, feedback, discussion responses, and grading Empower students to learn and grow through evidence-based feedback and guidance Set clear expectations and guidelines for each course in accordance with university policies Utilize effective professional communication in providing clear directions, feedback, and promoting student learning Attend virtual faculty meetings when you are able or watch recordings to stay current on policies Be available to students by answering emails within 24 hours Education Master's or Doctorate degree from accredited institution depending on program requirements Licenses/Certifications Current, unencumbered nursing license required Specific additional licensure may be required depending on state/program Adjunct Compensation Course contracts are paid semi-monthly and range from $150 - $3,500 depending on instruction level and student count At Aspen Group Inc., we don't just accept difference - we celebrate it, we support it, and we thrive on it for the benefit of our employees and our community.
