Online Chat Support Agent

FreeLink Interpreting LLC provides interpreting and language-access services for organizations operating across healthcare, legal, court, government, and business environments. Our work helps clients communicate clearly and effectively in situations where accuracy, responsiveness, and service quality matter.

As an Online Chat Support Agent, you will play an important part in shaping the customer experience by serving as a reliable first point of contact through digital support channels. This role is well suited to someone who brings a thoughtful, service-oriented approach to customer interactions and can balance empathy, efficiency, and sound judgment while supporting a wide range of client needs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally through live chat channels.
• Resolve account, billing, and service issues with accuracy and empathy.
• Document customer interactions clearly in CRM or support ticket systems.
• Escalate complex technical or service cases to the appropriate team.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction while meeting response time targets.

• 1+ year of experience handling customer support inquiries through live chat or other digital channels.
• Experience communicating with customers through written live chat, with fluent English and a professional written communication style.
• Hands-on experience with customer support platforms such as Salesforce, Zendesk, Freshdesk, and Intercom.
• Experience handling account access issues, service complaints, and technical support escalations.
• Background in government-facing customer service.
