The Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Online University Instructor to deliver engaging virtual lessons, guide students through academic subjects, and support their educational progress. This part-time remote opportunity is suited to an educator who can explain complex concepts clearly, encourage critical thinking, and adapt teaching methods to meet different learning needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured online lectures, tutorials, workshops, and academic learning sessions.
• Develop teaching materials, presentations, assignments, and supplementary learning resources.
• Explain subject-specific concepts using clear, practical, and engaging teaching methods.
• Facilitate discussions, encourage student participation, and promote critical thinking.
• Assess student assignments, examinations, and coursework while providing constructive feedback.
• Monitor student progress and provide academic guidance to support learning objectives.
• Use virtual learning platforms and digital tools to deliver lessons and manage course materials.
• Maintain accurate attendance records, assessment results, and relevant academic documentation.
• Stay informed about developments in the relevant academic field and continuously improve teaching practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant professional or teaching experience in higher education, academic instruction, or professional training preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline preferred; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to communicate complex topics effectively.
• Excellent presentation, classroom management, and student engagement skills.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms, virtual classrooms, and digital learning resources.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prepare lessons and manage academic deadlines.
• A student-focused approach, professional integrity, and commitment to educational quality.
• Relevant teaching credentials or professional certifications are advantageous but not mandatory unless required by the subject or institution.
