Job description We are always on the lookout for talented candidates with experience in or passion for the maritime industry. Whether you are a junior professional eager to learn or a seasoned expert ready to lead complex projects, we want to hear from you. As a Naval Architect, you will be part of our naval architecture team, contributing to a wide range of tasks such as hull design, CFD analysis, stability assessments, structural design, and compliance with rules and regulations. Possible responsibilities Design and develop vessel structures and systems in compliance with industry standards and regulations. Stability analysis and reports General rules & regulations compliancy Create and optimise 3D models using SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar CAD software. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical accuracy and project success. Participate in concept development, feasibility studies, and detailed engineering phases. Provide innovative solutions to improve performance, sustainability, and safety. Perform CFD analysis to support hull optimisation and performance evaluation. Engage in customer communication (depending on experience level) to ensure alignment with project goals. Requirements A bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture or equivalent experience. Interest or experience in small crafts, commercial vessel design, or ships. Familiarity or experience with SolidWorks, Rhino or other parametric 3D software. Understanding of hydrodynamics and structural design principles. Experience working with composites or aluminium structures is a plus. Fluent in English both spoken and written. Finnish language skills are considered an advantage. Willingness to learn and develop your skills. Proactive way of working. Self-management skills.
