OpenText Administrator | Netherlands | Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced OpenText Administrator to manage and further professionalize an enterprise OpenText environment within a complex, security-sensitive IT landscape.

You will be responsible for the technical and application management of OpenText, ensuring stability, security, continuity and controlled delivery into production. You will work closely with platform teams, developers, architects, security specialists, integration teams and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the OpenText environment and associated components.
• Monitor availability, performance, capacity and overall technical health.
• Analyse and resolve incidents, problems and complex technical disruptions.
• Perform root-cause analysis and identify structural improvements.
• Manage configurations, settings, logging and error handling.
• Prepare and execute releases, patches, upgrades and configuration changes.
• Perform impact analyses and verify technical prerequisites before production releases.
• Support DTAP processes and deployments.
• Develop and execute rollback and recovery procedures.
• Contribute to OpenText lifecycle management, including identifying end-of-life and end-of-support components.
• Monitor integrations between OpenText and surrounding applications, platforms and services.
• Support security, authorization, vulnerability, patching and audit requirements.
• Contribute to backup, restore, recovery, availability, monitoring and continuity procedures.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks and operational procedures.
• Help establish a sustainable management organization and transfer operational knowledge.

Requirements

• Minimum HBO work and thinking level, demonstrated through education and/or relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in technical/application management of enterprise content or document management solutions.
• At least 3 years of hands-on OpenText experience, preferably OpenText Content Management / Extended ECM.
• Proven experience managing OpenText within a complex enterprise production environment.
• Strong experience with incident, problem, change, release and configuration management.
• Experience with upgrades, patches, lifecycle management and production implementations.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, performance analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating ECM/DMS solutions with other applications or platform services.
• Knowledge of security, authorization and business continuity within application management.
• Experience creating technical management documentation, runbooks and operational procedures.
• Ability to work across application, platform, infrastructure, security and management domains.

Nice to Have

• Experience with OpenShift / Kubernetes or other container platforms.
• Knowledge of APIs, middleware and enterprise integration platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated deployments.
• Experience transitioning projects/programmes into structured operational management.
• Experience building or professionalizing an application management organization.
• Experience in government or another environment with high requirements for information security and continuity.
