The Role
We are looking for an experienced OpenShift Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage Red Hat OpenShift platforms on cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing containerized applications. The role involves cluster deployment, automation, CI/CD integration, platform security, and monitoring. The ideal candidate will bring solid experience in Kubernetes, DevOps practices, and major cloud providers, with a strong focus on delivering reliable, maintainable, and enterprise-grade solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, upgrade, and manage OpenShift clusters across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Manage containerized applications and their lifecycle within OpenShift using tools such as the OpenShift CLI (oc), Operators, and Helm charts.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions with Terraform and Ansible for automated provisioning, scaling, and configuration.
• Design and integrate CI/CD pipelines using OpenShift Pipelines (Tekton), Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Ensure platform and application security through RBAC, namespaces, resource quotas, and policies (Pod Security, OPA Gatekeeper).
• Configure and maintain observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki) for monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Support development teams in the efficient deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.

Required Skills

• University degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in Cloud, DevOps, or related engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, including cluster administration, networking, storage, and security.
• Professional experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their OpenShift managed services (e.g., ROSA).
• Proficiency with DevOps and automation tools: CI/CD (Jenkins, Argo CD), configuration management (Ansible), IaC (Terraform).
• Solid knowledge of Docker and other container technologies.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch.
• Understanding of security best practices within Kubernetes environments (RBAC, network policies, compliance).

Nice to Have

• Experience with GitOps practices and tools (Argo CD, Flux).
• Exposure to agile methodologies and collaborative development processes.
• Knowledge of advanced cloud-native security frameworks and compliance standards.
