Job Description
This is a remote position.
Join LSD Open as a Platform Engineer to deliver configure independently, and maintain enterprise OpenShift platforms across hybrid, on-premise, and cloud environments throughout the Middle East and globally. This intermediate role focuses on taking ownership of full delivery cycles for specific customers.
What you'll do:

- Work independently with minimal supervision to deploy, configure, and maintain OpenShift cluster infrastructure and associated container technologies.
- Install, configure, and manage OpenShift Kubernetes clusters.
- Deliver, configure, and maintain customer platforms while applying best practices for resilience and security.
- Write and maintain reusable automation.
- Implement GitOps for platform delivery and maintenance.
- Integrate, manage, and secure CI/CD pipelines for platform and app delivery.
- Manage technical customer interactions, drive satisfaction through delivery and build trust.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues in distributed systems. Perform root cause analysis.
- Write technical documentation for installations, SOPs, and customer guides. Maintain clear delivery docs, automation run-books, and customer-specific diagrams.
- Work cross-functionally with teams like security, networking, and app dev. Engage with stakeholders and customers, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Red Hat Certifications: Active RedHat Certifications including:
- EX200 - Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
- EX280 - Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator
- EX294 - Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
- EX316 - Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift VirtualizationOpenShift
- Expertise: 2+ years of dedicated hands-on experience designing, building, and managing Red Hat OpenShift infrastructure (including OpenShift Virtualization).
- Ansible Mastery: Deep expertise in Ansible and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform for enterprise environment provisioning and configuration.
- Linux Deep-Dive: Advanced Linux system administration skills with a heavy focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- DevSecOps Tooling: Proficiency in GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux), CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins), and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic).
