About the job
The Operational Efficiency Manager (OEM) sits close to service delivery within Infrastructure & Information Security (IF-IS), supporting Heads of Infrastructure, Service Owners, and Profit Centre Owners across the Europe 1 region, with a particular focus on Central Europe (CE).
A key part of the role involves steering financial performance at service level, working hands-on in SAP, and supporting Finance teams with forecasting, pricing, and related commercial activities. The OEM acts as the interface and translator between Finance and Business/Service Managers, ensuring that commercial requirements are understood on both sides and translated into consistent, well-informed decisions. This calls for strong commercial and financial acumen, as well as an ability to move comfortably between financial, operational, and managerial perspectives.
Beyond this, the OEM helps define, steer, and deliver regional efficiency measures (e.g., AI Ambition) and ensures that the efficiency targets tied to these initiatives are actually achieved by tracking progress, flagging variances, and coordinating dependencies across services. The role also supports the development of business cases and builds financial literacy among the Head of Infrastructure teams.
The working style is characterised by independent task management with minimal supervision, a proactive approach with strong attention to detail, and the ability to engage effectively with a variety of senior stakeholders – embedded in a supportive team that shares knowledge and helps each other along the way.

- Prepare financial analyses, reports, and dashboards (e.g., SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) for Senior Management and other stakeholders on a regular and ad-hoc basis
What you bring
- A university degree in finance or a related field, with at least 5 years' relevant experience in finance or controlling – ideally including experience in a Commercial Service Manager or Finance Business Partner role

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to distil complex financial information into clear, focused messages for senior leadership and other stakeholders
- Understanding of the financial cycle across both IT run and change (project) activities – from planning and pricing through forecasting and deviation analysis to billing · Independent, proactive, and reliable working style, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and cross-functional dependencies under pressure and to deadlines
