Are you someone who thrives on making things better? We're looking for an Operational Excellence Manager to help drive meaningful change across WorkNest. You'll have the autonomy to deliver improvements that make a real impact, helping us work smarter, improve productivity and shape how we use AI, automation and technology as we continue to grow.
Why Join Us
At WorkNest, our 800+ colleagues support over 50,000 organisations worldwide, helping them manage risk, strengthen performance and protect what matters most. We combine smart technology with real human expertise to provide clear, practical guidance across people management, health and safety, compliance and cyber and data security. What truly sets us apart is how we work - our clients see us as an extension of their team. Over the last 24 months, we’ve experienced exceptional growth, expanding into global markets through the acquisition of several leading business services groups. Our growth journey continues as we expand both in the UK and internationally. WorkNest is part of the Axiom GRC group. Across Axiom, our 1,400+ colleagues support organisations with their governance, risk and compliance needs. We deliver best-in-class solutions through a combination of highly skilled compliance professionals and leading software. Our ambition is to build a £250m business, achieving sustained growth of over 25% through a balance of strong organic performance and well executed acquisitions.
This role offers the chance to make a genuine impact across the business, leading improvement initiatives, embracing new technologies and helping us unlock the full potential of AI, automation and smarter ways of working. You'll be joining a function that already has strong foundations and momentum, giving you the freedom to focus on delivering change and seeing the results of your work first hand.
What We Offer
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum
Amazing benefits
Flexibility in where you work, with occasional travel to an Axiom office to support collaboration and project delivery
Collaborative team and supportive culture
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys turning ideas into action. You'll have experience delivering business improvement, transformation, operational excellence or process improvement initiatives and be comfortable working across functions to drive change.
You will:
Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and service quality
Analyse processes, challenge existing ways of working and implement improvements
Deliver projects from initial discovery through to implementation and benefits realisation
Help teams embrace new technologies, automation and AI-enabled solutions
Work directly with senior stakeholders to solve business challenges
Use data and insight to inform decisions and demonstrate impact
Build strong relationships across the business and influence positive change
This is a role for someone who enjoys autonomy, thrives on variety and wants to see the tangible results of their work.
About You
You'll be naturally curious, commercially minded and passionate about finding better ways of working. We're particularly interested in hearing from people who have:
Delivered successful business improvement, transformation or continuous improvement projects
Experience improving processes and driving measurable business outcomes
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
A data driven approach to problem solving
Experience working alongside technology teams to deliver digital, automation or AI-led improvements
Lean or Six Sigma experience would be an advantage, although we're primarily interested in people who can demonstrate a track record of delivering successful change and measurable improvements
The confidence to work independently and lead projects with minimal supervision
Experience within professional services, consultancy or other fast paced, growth focused environments would be advantageous.
This role offers a high degree of flexibility and autonomy. However, collaboration will be key to your success, so you'll be comfortable spending time in an Axiom office when needed to work alongside colleagues, stakeholders and project teams.
Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys rolling up your sleeves, driving change and making a genuine difference.
