Role Overview We are seeking an Operational Risk professional to support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational risks across our fintech operations. The ideal candidate brings a strong risk mindset , understands end‑to‑end operational processes, and has exposure to fintech or banking environments . This role is suited for early to mid-career professionals (typically aged 25–30 or equivalent experience) who are looking to grow within a fast‑paced, regulated digital financial ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Operational Risk Management Identify, assess, and monitor operational risks across products, processes, systems, and third‑party relationships Maintain and update Risk & Control Assessments for operations Support development and monitoring of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) Track and report operational risk incidents, losses, and near misses Controls & Process Assurance Evaluate effectiveness of operational controls and recommend improvements Support implementation of risk mitigation actions in collaboration with Ops, Product, Tech, and Compliance teams Assist in reviewing SOPs, workflows, and process changes from a risk perspective Governance & Reporting Prepare regular operational risk reports for management and governance forums Support regulatory, internal audit, and external audit requests related to operational risk Ensure alignment with internal risk frameworks, policies, and regulatory expectations Fintech & Ecosystem Risk Assess risks related to digital products, payments, wallets, APIs, and automation Monitor third-party and vendor operational risks Support business continuity, incident response, and operational resilience initiatives Age range: Typically 25–30 years (or equivalent professional experience) 1–3 years of experience in: Operational Risk Risk Management Internal Controls Audit or Compliance Experience within Fintech, Digital Banking, or Traditional Banking environments Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field Office environment: When you come to our b_labs office, you'll find creative workspaces, a well-equipped kitchen, and an open design to foster collaboration between teams.
