SteadyState Work Partners | Austin/Central Texas
Part-Time | Assignment-Based | $21/hour

What We Do

SteadyState Work Partners is a human capital consulting firm specializing in human capital risk mitigation.

We work with organizations when a valuable person's Heat-of-the-Moment actions or inaction are creating business consequences—and knowing better hasn't been enough to stop it.

Our proprietary TAU Core™ intervention develops the I Caught Myself Reflex™: the ability to interrupt an automatic reaction before it becomes consequential action or inaction.

The Role

The Operations Coordinator helps make sure TAU Core™ is operationally ready and runs as intended.

While the Participant Success Coordinator maintains continuity with the participant, the Operations Coordinator works primarily behind the scenes to coordinate the people, information, schedules, materials, systems, and field requirements necessary for TAU Core™ delivery.

You will help make sure the right things are ready, the right people have the information they need at the right time, required operational steps have been completed, and issues are identified before they interfere with delivery.

This is a coordination and execution role.

You are not responsible for facilitating the intervention or making field-safety decisions. You are responsible for helping make sure the operation surrounding the intervention is ready to perform.

Core Responsibilities

TAU Core™ Readiness

  • Coordinate operational preparation for scheduled TAU Core™ cohorts.

  • Maintain cohort schedules, operational go/no-go checklists, and readiness requirements.

  • Confirm required activities and dependencies are completed before field delivery.

  • Coordinate information needed by facilitators, Field Operations Safety Leads, Participant Success, and other assigned personnel.

  • Identify missing information, incomplete requirements, scheduling conflicts, or other operational gaps and follow through until resolved.

  • Escalate issues that require a decision outside your authority.

Field Delivery Coordination

  • Support the operational requirements surrounding TAU Core™ field sessions.

  • Confirm assigned personnel, schedules, locations, materials, and other required resources are ready.

  • Communicate operational changes to the appropriate team members.

  • Help coordinate schedule or logistical changes when conditions require them.

  • Maintain clear awareness of what has been completed, what has changed, and what still needs attention.

  • Support the team without interfering with facilitation or field-safety responsibilities.

Documentation & Operational Control

  • Maintain accurate operational records for TAU Core™ delivery.

  • Track completion of required operational activities and documentation.

  • Keep current information organized and available to the people who need it.

  • Follow established procedures, checklists, and documentation requirements.

  • Identify inconsistencies or process gaps and bring them forward for resolution.

  • Support post-delivery administrative closeout for each cohort.

The Operation Should Be Ready Before Anyone Has to Ask

Good operations often happens before anyone notices there could have been a problem.

  • The TAU Facilitator should not have to wonder whether an operational requirement was completed.

  • The Field Operations Safety Lead should not have to chase basic assignment information.

  • Participant Success should not have to reconstruct what happened behind the scenes.

  • And the participant should not have to experience internal operational complexity.

You help make sure the pieces are where they need to be before they are needed.

What You Will Not Do

You will not:

  • Facilitate TAU Core™.

  • Coach, counsel, or interpret participant experiences.

  • Make clinical or psychological assessments.

  • Assume the responsibilities of the Participant Success Coordinator.

  • Make field-safety decisions assigned to the Field Operations Safety Lead.

  • Change intervention requirements or delivery standards on your own.

  • Guess when information or authorization is required.

When something falls outside your responsibility, your job is to recognize it, route it appropriately, and make sure it does not disappear.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and absolute discretion in a high-trust environment is a must (non-negotiable)

  • Experience in operations coordination, program coordination, project coordination, administrative operations, logistics, professional services, or a similar role.

  • Strong organization and follow-through.

  • Ability to coordinate multiple people, schedules, requirements, and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Ability to identify missing information and unresolved dependencies before they become problems.

  • Sound judgment about what you can resolve independently and what requires escalation.

  • Clear written and verbal communication.

  • Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the overall operation.

  • Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records.

  • Ability to learn and consistently follow established systems and procedures.

  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

  • Reliable technology and connectivity for remote work.

  • Ability to travel within the Austin/Central Texas area when required for TAU Core™ operations.

Preferred Backgrounds

Relevant experience may include:

  • Lean Six Sigma (any level)

  • Program or project coordination

  • Operations coordination

  • Professional services operations

  • Learning or development program operations

  • Event or field operations

  • Logistics coordination

  • Education administration

  • Client-service operations

  • Healthcare or other structured service-delivery environments

  • Quality or process-improvement environments

The Ideal Candidate

  • You are organized without becoming rigid.

  • You notice when something is missing.

  • You follow through without needing someone else to remind you.

  • You can hold multiple moving pieces in your head while still maintaining accurate systems and records.

  • You do not assume that because something was assigned, it happened.

  • You verify.

  • You are comfortable working behind the scenes and understand that excellent operations often look uneventful from the outside.

You make it easier for everyone else to do their job because the operation itself is under control.

Compensation & Assignment Structure

This is a part-time, assignment-based role scheduled around TAU Core™ delivery.

Compensation is $21/hour.

  • Hours will vary based on cohort volume and operational requirements.

  • Cohorts are generally delivered between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

  • Assignments may include advance preparation, scheduling and coordination, field-delivery support, documentation, operational follow-up, and cohort closeout.

Where You Will Work

This is a hybrid role.

Much of the coordination and administrative work can be completed remotely. In-person work in the Austin/Central Texas area may be required in connection with TAU Core™ field delivery, operational preparation, or other assigned activities.

Selection Process

Qualified candidates may be invited to:

  1. An Initial Conversation.

  2. A structured Final Interview focused on operational judgment, organization, coordination, problem-solving, and the responsibilities of the Operations Coordinator role.

Any required screening or pre-assignment requirements will be completed before an assignment begins.

The Standard

TAU Core™ involves multiple people, requirements, schedules, and moving parts.

Your job is to know what needs to happen, know whether it happened, notice when something has changed, and make sure the right person knows when something requires attention.

When operations are working well, the participant should never have to see how much coordination made that possible.
