About the opportunity

We are on a journey of growth and transformation, and we are looking for an experienced Operations Data Analyst to join our newly established Service Enablement team within Operations. You will shape how we use data to understand performance, identify opportunities, and make better decisions across our operational value streams.

You will work closely with operational leaders, Value Leads, customer-facing teams, and specialist partners to develop meaningful measures, reporting, dashboards, and analytical insights.

Additionally, you will play an important role in building a stronger data led culture across Operations by translating complex information into clear recommendations, helping stakeholders understand what is happening, why it is happening, and where to focus next.

As our Operations Data Analyst, you will:

• Partner with leaders and teams to design, develop and continuously improve operational, customer and value stream measures and provide trusted analytical advice

• Create dashboards, reports and analytical views and translate them into clear recommendations and compelling data stories that support decision-making

• Analyse trends, root causes, performance drivers, risks and improvement opportunities across operational processes and customer journeys

• Establish performance baselines, track benefits and support post-implementation analysis of change initiatives

• Promote strong data quality, governance standards and reporting consistency for operations, operating within the enterprise governance and data and reporting frameworks.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities and helping prioritise improvement activity

• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by validating operational data, reporting outputs and business requirements for planned changes

• Contribute to a culture of curiosity, evidence-based decision-making and operational excellence

About you

You are naturally curious, analytical and commercially minded. You enjoy exploring complex data, identifying patterns and trends, and helping others make sense of data.

You are confident working with a wide range of stakeholders and know how to adapt your communication style to different audiences. Besides your data analytical skills, you can also translate complex information into simple, practical recommendations that people can understand and act on.

Attributes that help you succeed in this role:

• Previous experience in insurance or financial services is desirable but not essential

• Proven experience in data analytics and developing dashboards, reports and visualisations using tools such as Power BI, Excel, SQL, Tableau or similar

• Understanding of KPI design, performance measurement and benefits tracking

• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills

• An understanding of data governance, reporting standards and data quality principles

• A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for helping organisations make better decisions
