  • Directly supervise, schedule, and evaluate transport drivers, dispatchers, and field support staff to maintain optimal coverage and high operational performance.
  • Enforce strict adherence to security detention transport protocols, secure custody practices, and emergency response procedures during all transit operations.
  • Monitor active transport runs to resolve route delays, mechanical issues, weather hazards, or emergency security incidents dynamically in the field.
  • Ensure driver logbooks, hours-of-service compliance, vehicle safety checks, and detention facility transfer procedures strictly conform to relevant government regulations.
  • Track operational assets including specialized transport vehicles, restraint gear, communications equipment, and officer protective gear.
  • Maintain accurate daily operational metrics, mileage logs, maintenance records, and personnel duty logs for program management review.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Criminal Justice, or related field (or equivalent operational management experience).
  • Strong working knowledge of DOT motor carrier safety regulations, fleet maintenance practices, driver safety standards, and secure detention transport procedures.
  • Proven ability to direct multi-route ground logistics, manage real-time dispatch, and handle emergency contingencies under pressure.
  • Must be able to pass a rigorous federal background investigation and obtain/maintain required government security clearance.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and be willing to travel across Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma as needed for field supervision.
  • Problem-solving capabilities, clear leadership presence, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
