Collectors is the leading creator of innovative technology that provides value-added services for collectors worldwide. We grade, authenticate, vault, and sell millions of record-setting collectibles, all while modernizing and digitalizing the process to further our mission of helping collectors pursue their passions. We’re always on the lookout for talented people to join our growing team.
Our services span collectible trading cards, autographs, comic books, coins, video games, event tickets, and memorabilia. Our subsidiaries include PSA, PCGS, Beckett, SGC, and Card Ladder.
Since our founding in 1986, we have graded and authenticated millions of items. We employ more than 3000 people across our headquarters in Santa Ana, California and offices in New Jersey, Texas, Florida, Japan, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Canada, Mexico, Germany, the UK, and France.
As part of our interview process, we request that candidates have their cameras on during video interviews. This helps foster meaningful conversation and allows us to create an experience that closely resembles our standard working environment. Certain interview steps may take place by phone. For remote roles, and at our discretion, candidates may be asked to participate in an on-site interview as part of the final stages of the process.
We understand there may be occasional circumstances requiring accommodation and are happy to discuss them as needed. Your recruiter will be able to clarify expectations and answer any questions you have.
We are looking for an Operations Production Planner to embed within our Operations teams, bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution, and build actionable reporting that directly drives performance. In this role, you will work backwards from operational needs, design clear and accessible dashboards, and serve as the critical liaison between Operations and Tech to optimize throughput and service levels.
Onsite: This is a Hybrid role that will require 2-3 days onsite and can work remote the remaining days. This role will required to be onsite for 90 days before moving into a hybrid schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Engagement & Discovery: Embed closely with Operations teams to deeply understand workflows, identify pain points, and translate business requirements into actionable reporting and analytical frameworks.
- Dashboard & BI Development: Design, build, and maintain robust, user-friendly dashboards that simplify complex data for non-technical leadership and frontline teams.
- Operational Performance & SLA Optimization: Partner with operations leadership on resourcing, throughput, and capacity planning to proactively identify bottlenecks and measurably reduce Service Level Agreement (SLA) turnaround times.
- Cross-Functional Bridge: Serve as the primary liaison between Operations and Engineering/Tech to scope, prioritize, and track technical enhancements that boost team productivity.
- Data Integration & Insights: Extract and synthesize data across disparate internal systems to highlight operational trends, guide project delivery, and inform strategic decisions.
- Enablement & Self-Service BI: Train and mentor team members on data tools, metrics, and analytical best practices to foster a culture of data self-sufficiency across the organization.
Who You Are:
Must-Haves:
- Proven Experience: 3+ years of experience in operations or business analytics.
- Visualization & Reporting: Deep understanding of data best practices, visualization techniques, and reporting principles.
- Modern BI & Dashboarding: Hands-on experience using modern BI tools such as Lightdash, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms to build accessible reports for internal teams.
- Spreadsheet Mastery: Advanced level of proficiency with Google Sheets and/or Excel for modeling, ad-hoc analysis, and operational performance tracking.
- Communication & Trust-Building: Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build trust, listen closely, and translate needs for non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Seniority & Domain Background:
- 5+ years of experience in operations or business analytics.
- Experience supporting internal operations teams (specifically Collectors Operations).
- BS/MS in a related field.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Training:
- Demonstrated evidence of training and enabling team members to use data tools and self-service reporting.
- Proven experience supporting and collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., bridging Operations and Tech/Engineering).
- Emerging Tech & AI:
- Proficiency in using AI tools to accelerate data analysis and automatically generate documentation, presentations, graphs, and interactive dashboards.
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
Reasons To Join Us:
- Health Insurance: All full-time employees are eligible to enroll in Medical, Dental, and Vision
- Additional Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for fertility, commuter, and educational assistance benefits
- 401(K) Matching Plan: We are proud to offer a competitive 401k matching plan to our employees to support their future financial goals
