About the role

The Operations Specialist supports the efficient execution of activities related to Compliance Assurance and Document Renewals teams within the UK and IE operations. This role is predominantly analytical, with a strong focus on using data to ensure operational compliance with relevant legislation/regulation, proactively manage risk, and lead initiatives that improve the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of the teams.

A key part of this role involves forecasting, in-depth data analysis, performance monitoring, change and project management. The Operations Specialist will work closely with team managers to streamline and automate processes, reduce variability, and ensure consistent execution across regions.

Additionally, this role is responsible for driving the implementation of centrally led changes, maintaining internal governance frameworks, and contributing to risk-benefit evaluations of new or evolving operational initiatives.

Cross-functional collaboration, critical thinking, and the ability to derive actionable insights from data are essential. The Operations Specialist plays a direct role in delivering on key operational metrics and supporting long-term strategic goals.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Partner closely with Operations Managers, Senior Team Leads and Team Leads to improve performance and process efficiency across the UK and Ireland teams.

• Analyse Compliance Assurance and Document Renewals processes, identifying risks, opportunities and practical recommendations for future decisions.

• Proactively identify operational issues and lead solution-focused improvements, including through AI, automation and other tools.

• Lead change initiatives and local implementation of centrally led projects, ensuring operational readiness, compliance and a smooth rollout.

• Provide data-driven reporting, forecasts and insights to support strategic decisions, resource planning and project prioritisation.

• Manage assigned projects end to end, acting as a key stakeholder contact for UK and Ireland compliance, document renewals and operational-efficiency topics.

About you

• 2–3 years of experience in operations, project management or compliance-related roles.

• Strong analytical, forecasting and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.

• Experience managing or supporting change initiatives and implementing process improvements.

• Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering initiatives on time.

• Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex information to different stakeholders.

• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset; familiarity with team processes, internal tools and AI tools is a strong plus.
