We are seeking an experienced Oracle Business Analyst - Order Management to join our Enterprise Applications team. Reporting to the Lead Business Analyst, this individual will serve as the functional subject matter expert for Oracle Order Management and the broader Order-to-Cash (O2C) lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will possess deep functional expertise in Oracle EBS Order Management and a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end business processes spanning customer onboarding, order entry, pricing, fulfillment, shipping, invoicing, collections, and cash application. This role will work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Distribution, and IT teams to optimize business processes, improve system capabilities, and deliver strategic initiatives that drive operational excellence. Experience with EDI integrations and Kinaxis planning solutions is highly desirable.
This position will be able to work remotely from anywhere in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Process Excellence
- Serve as a functional analyst for Oracle Order Management and Order-to-Cash processes.
- Analyze, document, and implement enhancements for the end-to-end O2C business processes.
- Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.
- Partner with technical teams to deliver scalable and sustainable Oracle solutions.
- Drive standardization and adoption of best practices across global business operations.
Oracle Order Management Leadership
- Support and enhance Oracle EBS Order Management, Shipping Execution, Inventory, Pricing, Advanced Pricing, Accounts Receivable, and related modules.
- Configure and maintain Order Management setups including:
- Order Types
- Holds
- Workflow
- Pricing Rules and Modifiers
- Shipping Parameters
- Customer Hierarchies
- Credit Management
- Troubleshoot complex production issues impacting order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate Oracle functionality and recommend improvements to support evolving business requirements.
Order-to-Cash Process Ownership
- Coordinate initiatives across the complete O2C lifecycle including:
- Customer Master Data
- Customer Pricing
- Quote-to-Order
- Order Management
- ATP/CTP
- Fulfillment
- Shipping
- Invoicing
- Accounts Receivable Integration
- Returns and RMAs
- Cash Application
- Collaborate with Finance teams to ensure accurate invoicing, revenue recognition, and financial reconciliation.
EDI & Systems Integration
- Support EDI transactions and trading partner integrations.
- Work with customers, vendors, third-party providers, and middleware teams troubleshoot EDI transactions including:
- 850 Purchase Orders
- 860 Purchase Order Changes
- 830 Forecasts
- 862 Shipping Schedule
- 855 Purchase Order Acknowledgements
- 856 Advance Ship Notices
- 810 Invoices
- Other customer-specific transactions
- Partner with integration teams to support APIs, XML, middleware, and external application connectivity.
Kinaxis Collaboration
- Work closely with Supply Chain Planning teams to align Order Management processes with Kinaxis planning capabilities.
- Assist with data integrity, integration requirements, and process improvements between Oracle EBS and Kinaxis.
- Support planning and fulfillment initiatives that improve customer service levels and supply chain performance.
Project Delivery
- Lead or participate in ERP projects, enhancements, upgrades, and business transformation initiatives.
- Develop test strategies and execute:
- Unit Testing
- System Integration Testing
- User Acceptance Testing
- Coordinate deployment activities and end-user training.
- Ensure adequate documentation exists for support and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of Oracle EBS Business Analyst experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Order Management experience.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash business processes.
- Experience supporting high-volume order management and customer fulfillment operations.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Oracle Order Management (OM)
- Advanced Pricing
- Shipping Execution
- Inventory
- Accounts Receivable
- Customer Master Data
- Experience creating functional specifications and managing business requirements.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EDI transaction processing and integration platforms.
- Experience supporting Oracle XML Gateway, SOA, APIs integrations.
- Experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse or Kinaxis Maestro.
- Understanding of supply chain planning, demand planning, and fulfillment processes.
- Experience supporting global ERP environments.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, or other project management platforms.
- Exposure to Oracle Fusion applications.
- Experience in AI, CoPilot, ChatGPT and/or Claude
- Experience with automation tools (like UiPath)
