Oracle Cloud Financials Manager

The Hackett Group is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Financials Manager who is comfortable leading teams and working directly with clients. This role will provide functional leadership for assigned project roles focused on implementing Oracle Cloud Financials applications, including solution design, business process analysis, and system integration.

The Oracle Cloud Financials Manager will provide functional guidance on Oracle Financials best practices and application functionality throughout all phases of an implementation. The ideal candidate will be comfortable developing and maintaining client relationships, including working directly with CFOs, Controllers, and other senior stakeholders.

This role will also provide opportunities to advise clients on enterprise structure, chart of accounts, compliance, tax, and financial controls across a variety of industries, including publicly traded companies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify business requirements and align them with Oracle Cloud Financials functionality.
  • Configure Oracle Cloud Financials applications based on client requirements.
  • Develop innovative solutions using Oracle Cloud Financials to address complex business requirements.
  • Provide functional leadership and guidance to clients on Oracle best practices and application functionality throughout all phases of an implementation.
  • Deliver thought leadership around industry best practices to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Assist the Practice Manager with proposals, RFPs, and Statements of Work aligned with the scale and scope of the sales cycle and engagement.
  • Assist the Practice Manager with project estimating to support profitable delivery.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and vendors.
  • Document and perform application setups for test instances.
  • Review application setups and configurations with the appropriate client leads and obtain sign-off.
  • Identify issues, drive resolution, and help ensure adherence to project schedules.
  • Apply knowledge of GAAP, General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and financial reporting.
  • Partner with client functional leads to support effective knowledge transfer.
  • Provide guidance to client functional leads in the development of training materials and class agendas.
  • Lead weekly project status meetings for assigned teams and actively participate in project status and issue meetings.
  • Mentor and support project team members, helping strengthen their skills and supporting their professional development.

Job Qualifications

  • CPA preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of business processes across Oracle Cloud Financials modules.
  • Demonstrated experience coaching and developing project team members.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in a consulting environment or related industry, including experience working directly with Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud/Fusion applications.
  • 5+ years of related technical or business project experience.
  • At least two full lifecycle Oracle Cloud/Fusion Financials implementations as a functional lead.
  • Proficiency or leadership experience in three or more Oracle Cloud Financials application modules.

Flexible work location may be possible with company approval, excluding remote work from Colorado or New York City.
