Oracle Consultant

Role Description This part-time remote Oracle Consultant role focuses on supporting and optimizing Oracle-based systems that underpin the company’s wholesale and order management activities. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing business requirements, configuring and maintaining Oracle Applications modules, and advising stakeholders on best practices for Enterprise Project Management (EPM) and order workflows. The consultant will participate in process reviews, recommend improvements, and document system changes to enhance efficiency and data accuracy. The role also involves troubleshooting system issues, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and providing guidance to users to ensure effective adoption of Oracle solutions. The position offers flexibility while requiring regular communication and timely delivery of project work.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Oracle Applications and related consulting skills, with the ability to translate business needs into Oracle solutions.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Project Management (EPM) tools and practices, including planning, tracking, and reporting across projects.
• Practical understanding of Order Management and Business Process design, focusing on streamlining wholesale and distribution workflows.
• Proficiency in system analysis, configuration, and documentation, along with solid problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication skills, ability to work independently in a remote setting, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Relevant experience in wholesale, distribution, or supply chain environments is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience with Oracle implementations.
