Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) Consultant / Administrator
Job Type: Contract | Duration: 6–12 Months, Potential Extension
Location: Remote with Periodic Onsite Support | Hours: Central Time Zone
Experience: 15+ Years Overall | 5+ Years Oracle Analytics/Fusion | 3+ Years FDI
Compensation: Commensurate with skills, experience, and qualifications

Our client is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) Consultant / Administrator to support and optimize an enterprise analytics environment spanning Oracle ERP, HCM, and EPM.

The consultant will serve as a technical administrator and FDI subject matter expert responsible for platform administration, environment management, data pipelines, security, data augmentation, semantic model extensions, reporting, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

FDI Platform Administration
  • Administer Development, Test, and Production FDI environments.
  • Configure FDI instances, tenant settings, system configurations, and features.
  • Monitor platform health, performance, and operational readiness.
  • Develop administration procedures and operational runbooks.
Data Pipeline Administration
  • Configure, activate, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Oracle-delivered pipelines.
  • Manage incremental refresh schedules and data synchronization.
  • Support ERP, HCM, and EPM data ingestion.
  • Troubleshoot pipeline failures, refresh issues, throughput, and data latency.
Data Augmentation & Analytics
  • Design and implement FDI Data Augmentations.
  • Extend Oracle-delivered semantic models and subject areas.
  • Create custom dimensions, metrics, hierarchies, and reporting attributes.
  • Integrate approved external data sources.
  • Develop dashboards, workbooks, KPIs, visualizations, and scorecards.
  • Troubleshoot reporting performance and data discrepancies.
Security & Governance
  • Manage FDI users, roles, groups, licenses, and security assignments.
  • Configure role-based and row-level security.
  • Support Identity Domain, SSO, and access provisioning.
  • Support security reviews, audits, and compliance requirements.
Production Support & Data Quality
  • Validate FDI data against Oracle ERP, HCM, and EPM source systems.
  • Investigate data quality and reconciliation issues.
  • Establish monitoring, alerting, incident management, and escalation procedures.
  • Coordinate with Oracle Support on service requests and platform issues.
Release Management & Knowledge Transfer
  • Review Oracle quarterly updates and assess impacts to reports, pipelines, security, and customizations.
  • Coordinate regression testing and deployments across environments.
  • Maintain configuration and version documentation.
  • Develop user guides, runbooks, and administration procedures.
  • Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions for administrators, DBAs, Product Owners, and reporting teams.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in Oracle Analytics, Data Warehousing, Oracle Fusion reporting, or related technologies.
  • 5+ years of Oracle Analytics/Fusion reporting experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI/FAW) experience.
  • Strong Oracle HCM data knowledge, including structures, relationships, and reporting requirements.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP and EPM subject areas.
  • Strong understanding of FDI architecture, pipelines, semantic models, subject areas, and security.
  • Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW).
  • Experience with FDI Data Augmentation and semantic model extensions.
  • Experience supporting production analytics environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oracle HCM implementation experience.
  • Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and OCI experience.
  • Experience integrating external data sources into FDI.
  • Security governance and audit/compliance experience.
  • Oracle certification in FDI, Analytics, OCI, or Fusion Applications.
Key Deliverables
  • Stabilize and support FDI Development, Test, and Production environments.
  • Enhance HCM, ERP, and EPM reporting.
  • Optimize pipelines and refresh schedules.
  • Establish production support, monitoring, and governance procedures.
  • Complete knowledge transfer and deliver sustainable documentation and runbooks.

This is a remote position.

Compensation: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
