Oracle TRCS (Tax Reporting Cloud Service)

Role Description This is a remote contract role for an Oracle TRCS (Tax Reporting Cloud Service) professional. The role involves designing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle TRCS solutions to support tax reporting and compliance processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, mapping tax workflows, and creating robust configurations and integrations with other Oracle applications and relevant systems. The individual will collaborate with stakeholders and consulting teams to optimize business processes, troubleshoot system issues, provide guidance on best practices, and document functional and technical specifications. The role may also require training end users, supporting testing activities, and contributing to continuous improvement of tax reporting and related financial processes.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of business process analysis and design, particularly in tax reporting and finance, with the ability to translate business needs into Oracle TRCS configurations.
• Experience in consulting or advisory roles, including stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, solution design, and end-user support.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle TRCS and related Oracle applications, ideally including Oracle Cloud ERP or Oracle EPM modules.
• Knowledge of Oracle HR or broader Oracle Applications ecosystem and their integration points with financial and tax reporting processes.
• Practical experience in systems integration, data flows, and interfaces between Oracle TRCS and other enterprise systems.
• Proficiency in tax reporting concepts, financial accounting principles, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote, contract-based environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Relevant Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle EPM or TRCS) are highly beneficial.
