Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Outreach & Digital Partnerships Specialist to expand our brand's digital footprint, authority, and presence across both traditional search engines and next-generation AI engines.

In this role, you will work directly alongside our Growth Lead to drive strategic co-marketing initiatives, secure high-impact brand mentions, and establish digital partnerships. You will bridge traditional Off-Page SEO with modern Generative Engine Optimization (GEO / AIO) tactics — ensuring our brand is consistently cited, recommended, and indexed across top-tier digital publications and Large Language Models (LLMs).

Note: Cold email outreach and email deliverability are handled by our dedicated Outbound team. Your primary focus is partner acquisition, digital PR, entity building, and AI-era brand positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnerships & Co-Marketing: Identify, build, and negotiate high-value digital partnerships, guest content collaborations, podcast features, and brand integration opportunities with relevant industry sites.

  • GEO & LLM Visibility Execution: Apply Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI Search Optimization (AIO) techniques to ensure our content and brand entities are cited as authoritative sources in AI engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, SearchGPT).

  • AI & SEO Intelligence Tracking: Use tools like Profound, Weka, Ahrefs, Semrush, and Moz to track brand citations, entity authority, backlink profiles, and AI search presence.

  • Digital PR & Entity Building: Execute outreach strategies focused on acquiring high-authority unlinked brand mentions, citation building, and co-citation patterns that strengthen our search and AI entity graph.

  • Content & Asset Placement: Pitch linkable assets (research, proprietary data, tools, interactive resources) to industry journalists, editors, and site managers for inclusion in high-traffic resource hubs.

  • Tracking & Performance Reporting: Monitor partnership KPIs including transactional keyword ranking movement, referral traffic quality, entity citation velocity, and AI search citation presence.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Digital Outreach, Brand Partnerships, Digital PR, or Off-Page SEO. Semi-senior level minimum.

  • Deep understanding of Off-Page SEO fundamentals: anchor text strategy (selection, placement, and reasoning), dofollow/nofollow, domain authority/rating, link equity, and entity graph mapping — with the ability to explain the why behind every decision, not just the execution.

  • Proven ability to evaluate link quality: detecting PBN networks, identifying redirect schemes, assessing site history via Web Archive, and vetting traffic and topical relevance through Ahrefs, Semrush, or Moz.

  • Experience negotiating link exchanges and content partnerships directly with site owners — not relying on link marketplaces or purchased links.

  • Verifiable track record: ability to show specific links acquired, placement sites, and measurable impact on keyword rankings or search presence. DA/DR metrics alone are not sufficient proof of work.

  • Existing network of trusted site partners and publishers. A personal catalog of relationships ready to activate from day one is a strong differentiator and will be weighted heavily in the evaluation.

  • Solid grasp of GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), AIO, and LLM citation mechanics — understanding how off-page signals influence AI engine recommendations.

  • Hands-on experience with SEO and AI-visibility tracking tools: Profound, Weka, Ahrefs, Semrush, or Moz.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (C1/C2) for high-touch partner negotiations and communications.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with AI brand tracking and LLM monitoring tools such as Waikay (brand perception, share of model, and hallucination tracking across AI search engines).

  • CMS proficiency (Webflow, WordPress, or Ghost) to independently edit, format, or publish article updates and partner links when needed.

  • Experience with Digital PR platforms: Connectively/HARO, Qwoted, or Featured.

  • Basic knowledge of HTML/Markdown for reviewing content formatting.
