Outsystems Developer

This is a remote position.

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using the OutSystems low-code platform.
  
• Collaborate with business analysts, UX/UI designers, and QA engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  
• Implement business logic, data models, and user interfaces using OutSystems visual development tools.
  
• Customize and extend the OutSystems platform through the use of custom code, integrations, and extensions.
  
• Optimize application performance, ensuring scalability and responsiveness.
  
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues.
  
• Collaborate with the team to continuously improve development processes, tools, and frameworks.
  
• Stay updated with the latest OutSystems platform updates and industry best practices.
  
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  
• Proven work experience as an OutSystems Developer or in a similar role.
  
• Strong proficiency in the OutSystems low-code platform, including experience with visual development tools, data models, and workflows.
  
• Solid understanding of web development concepts, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
  
• Experience integrating external systems and services using RESTful APIs or web services.
  
• Knowledge of database concepts and SQL.
  
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve complex issues.
  
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
