The Opportunity

As a Packaging Assistant, you will be the operational backbone of our team, supporting our Packaging Specialists with all our end-to-end packaging needs. Day to day, you will take full ownership of our administrative workflows: kicking off supplier spec requests, auditing incoming documents to ensure every detail is accounted for, and managing intake before passing things over to our specialists. You will gain hands-on experience across every layer of technical packaging, from bag materials, dimensions, and carton specs through to pallet stacking, transport, and safety compliance.

What You’ll Do

• Kick off specification requests with our suppliers and keep things moving smoothly.
• Review incoming technical documents with a fine-tooth comb so no crucial data or missing details slip through the cracks.
• Help bring greener, more recyclable packaging solutions to life without sacrificing product quality or safety.
• Collate and refine data for primary packaging, shippers, and artwork so everything on our shelves is fit for purpose.
• Build genuine, collaborative relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Keep an eye on new packaging tech, sustainability trends, and changing industry regulations.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

We are looking for a curious, self-starting individual with an exceptional eye for detail and a strong drive to learn. While technical packaging experience is a bonus, the absolute must-haves for this role are your attitude, proactive mindset, and commitment to accuracy.

• Spot-on attention to detail, with a knack for catching small missing details or inconsistencies before they cause a snag.
• A curious, self-starting mindset and a genuine eagerness to ask questions and pick up technical packaging systems quickly.
• Great organisational skills to manage competing priorities and keep document workflows running smoothly without missing a beat.
• Top-notch communication skills to build warm, collaborative relationships across internal teams and external suppliers.
