Job Description

This is a remote position.

About the Company

The company is an award-winning, full-service digital marketing agency headquartered in Washington, D.C. and New York City. It builds integrated digital programs across paid media, SEO, GEO/AEO (answer and generative engine optimization), conversion rate optimization, social media management, and website design.
Its paid media practice covers Search, Shopping, Display, Remarketing, Social, YouTube, Native, Amazon, and TikTok. The client base ranges from nonprofits and universities to healthcare systems, manufacturers, B2B, and e-commerce brands, including well-known names in health, education, and ad tech.
The agency is a Google Partner and a recognized certified diverse supplier. It operates like a tight-knit team that treats clients as long-term partners — and it's growing fast, with an expanding Fortune 5000 client base.

About the Role

Are you a paid media pro who's been working at a digital marketing agency recently, enjoys being the person clients call first, has already managed teams, and is ready to keep growing as a leader? This role is for you.

As Paid Media Manager, you'll own a portfolio of client accounts end to end — strategy, execution, reporting, and the client relationship itself. There's no Account Management layer here: you are the client's go-to person for anything paid media, presenting results and guiding decisions directly.
You'll work hands-on across Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max, Shopping, YouTube), Microsoft Ads, and paid social on Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn. You'll start as an individual contributor, bringing your people management experience to lead the team's next hire when that need arises.

Responsabilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for 5–7 clients, leading every client-facing conversation on paid media without an Account Manager in between
• Present monthly performance reports, explain results, and deliver good and bad news with clear next steps
• Plan, build, and manage multi-channel campaigns (Search, Display, PMax, Shopping, Video, Social) averaging $30K–$50K/month in ad spend per client portfolio
• Test and optimize ad copy, bids, audiences, and budgets to maximize ROI
• Analyze monthly business metrics, budget pacing, and performance trends
• Use third-party and AI tools to streamline campaign setup, tracking, and reporting
• Identify growth opportunities within accounts and stay current on platform and industry changes
• Represent the client's goals to the internal team
• Mentor and lead the team's next Paid Media hire once that role opens

Requirements

Titles vary from company to company — Specialist, Analyst, Strategist, Manager. What matters is that your scope of work matches what's described here.

Must have:

• 4+ years of hands-on paid media management, with Google Ads as your primary platform and solid paid social experience
• Agency experience in a client-facing role, with your most recent position at a digital marketing agency (in-house, SaaS/ad-tech, or freelance work alone doesn't meet this requirement)
• Direct client-facing experience: you've presented performance reports yourself and been the go-to person for clients' paid media questions (having had an Account Manager support you is fine, as long as you spoke with clients directly and regularly)
• People management experience (direct reports, or formally leading/mentoring team members), plus the interest in growing into a team lead role within about a year
• A stable work history with solid tenure in your recent roles; if you've had short stints for reasons outside your control, tell us — we're happy to hear the context
• Proficiency in Google Ads (Search, Display, PMax, Shopping, YouTube), Microsoft Ads, and paid social (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn)
• Strong campaign reporting, budget management, and performance analytics skills
• Advanced Excel
• Strong written and verbal English
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and organized under tight deadlines; open to feedback and committed to growth
• Willingness to complete a hands-on exercise in a live ad account as part of the hiring process

Nice to have

• Experience with third-party or AI tools for campaign setup, tracking, or reporting
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field

Benefits

• Salary: $3,000–$3,500 USD/month (flexible for exceptional candidates)
• Location: 100% remote — open to candidates anywhere in Latin America
