Paid Media Manager – EMEA

Location: Soho, London
Working pattern: Hybrid
Reports to: Senior Director, Paid Media UK & EMEA
Salary: £45,000–£50,000 per annum

About the role

Allied Global Marketing is looking for an experienced Paid Media Manager to lead media strategy, planning and campaign delivery for our entertainment, culture and lifestyle clients.

You’ll take ownership of campaigns from briefing and strategy through to activation, optimisation and reporting, working across digital and out-of-home channels. Your focus will be the UK and Europe, with opportunities to support global campaigns across agency-wide accounts.

Combining confident client leadership with hands-on campaign expertise, you’ll turn business objectives into effective media plans, guide junior colleagues and keep multiple campaigns running accurately, on time and within budget.

What you’ll do
  • Lead media strategy and planning, defining audiences, channel roles, budgets, campaign timings and measures of success.
  • Own campaign delivery across paid social, paid search, YouTube, display, programmatic, connected TV and out-of-home, maintaining hands-on involvement alongside the wider media team.
  • Lead day-to-day client communication, presenting recommendations confidently, anticipating questions and keeping stakeholders informed of priorities, performance and next steps.
  • Oversee campaign set-up, targeting, tracking and quality checks, managing budgets and pacing and resolving delivery issues promptly.
  • Turn performance data into clear reporting, actionable insights and practical recommendations that improve results and inform future investment.
  • Collaborate with Data, Creative, Client Solutions, Earned and Owned teams to develop coordinated campaigns, effective creative and reliable measurement.
  • Guide and develop junior colleagues through clear delegation, regular check-ins, constructive feedback and training.
  • Monitor client scope and campaign finances, flag risks and opportunities, and contribute to pitches, new business and improvements in how the team works.
What you’ll bring
  • At least five years of experience in digital media strategy, planning and buying, including the delivery of complex, multi-channel campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience managing Meta and Google advertising platforms, alongside practical experience across paid search, paid social, YouTube, programmatic, connected TV and out-of-home.
  • Experience leading day-to-day client relationships and managing multiple campaigns or accounts.
  • Strong campaign-management skills covering set-up, quality assurance, optimisation, budget control, pacing and reporting.
  • Experience using second- or third-party data providers and building custom audience segments.
  • Working knowledge of ad-serving tools, pixel tracking, event set-up, troubleshooting and measurement frameworks.
  • The ability to translate performance data into clear stories, useful insights and well-supported recommendations.
  • Experience coaching junior colleagues, delegating work, reviewing output and providing constructive feedback.
  • Confident communication and presentation skills, strong organisation and attention to detail, and a proactive, collaborative approach.
  • Previous experience working with entertainment, culture or lifestyle brands is an advantage.

Working arrangements

This is a hybrid role with a minimum of two set days each week in our Soho-based London office: Tuesdays and Thursdays.
