Paid Media Specialist
Meta & Google Ads | Lead Generation
Fully remote
$1,800 USD (€1,560) per month
9:00am - 5:00pm UAE hours
We need someone who can own the strategy and defend it in front of the client.
About TDS Group
TDS Group is a Dubai-based performance marketing agency. We run Meta and Google Ads for service businesses across the UK and UAE — education, sports, renovation, clinics, automotive, B2B — alongside CRM and lead management systems built through our sub-brand, Prospect AI.
Our clients are business owners. They care about qualified leads and booked customers, not impressions.
The Role
We're hiring a Senior Paid Media Specialist to take ownership of paid performance across our client portfolio.
This is a senior role in judgment, not just execution. You'll build the strategy, run the accounts, and — importantly — be the person who can explain it all to a client with enough authority that they stop second-guessing and let the work run.
We'd rather tell you upfront than have you find out in month one.
We currently run around 14 active paid projects. Monthly ad budgets typically sit between AED 3,000 and AED 10,000, with only a small number above that range. Roughly 60% are low-maintenance accounts.
These are not large budgets. That means efficiency, lead quality and account structure matter far more than spend management. If your value comes from deploying large budgets, this isn't the right role. If you can get a service business profitable leads on AED 5,000 a month, you'll do very well here.
The Roadmap
Months 1–3 — Hands on
You'll be running campaigns end to end. Building, structuring, writing, testing, optimising, reporting. You need to be genuinely comfortable in the accounts, not just directing from above. This phase is how you learn the portfolio and set the standard.
From Month 3–4 — Building underneath you
We bring in a junior to support campaign delivery and execution. You move up a level: overseeing more projects, setting direction, reviewing work, making recommendations, and managing performance across the portfolio rather than inside individual accounts.
Long term — Owning paid
Top-level management of all paid projects, high-level client strategy communication, and management of the paid team's daily execution and output. This is the paid media leadership seat in the business.
Client Communication
You will not be handling daily client communication — we have an account manager for that.
What we need is someone who can step into specific moments and handle them with authority:
- Monthly or bi-monthly strategy and performance calls
- Escalation points where a client is unhappy, confused, or pushing back
In those moments you need to explain performance clearly, justify the strategy, and handle objections with real technical depth. Not defensively, and not by promising changes to make the tension go away.
This is a genuine gap we're filling. Done well, it removes endless back-and-forth and builds the kind of trust that keeps clients for years.
What You Need
Platform expertise
4–5 years of hands-on experience running both Meta and Google Ads, not strong on one and passable on the other. You understand campaign architecture, testing structure, conversion events, bidding, and when each platform is the wrong answer.
Advertising knowledge
You understand every variable that drives performance, not just what happens inside the ad platforms. That includes tracking and conversion event setup (Meta CAPI, GA4, Google Tag Manager), ad copywriting, creative diversity and testing, landing page optimisation, offer construction, targeting, and CRM automations that affect lead follow-up and conversion. When results move, you know which lever caused it.
Commercially driven
You look past platform metrics like CTR, CPC and CPL to the numbers the business actually runs on: cost per qualified lead (CPQL), customer acquisition cost (CAC), average ticket price (ATP), lifetime value (LTV) and churn. You can tell a client whether their ads are profitable, not just whether they're cheap, and you make decisions on that basis.
Strategy
You build campaign strategy that drives results, rather than following a template. You can look at a service business and work out where the constraint actually sits.
Agency and lead generation background
Agency experience managing multiple clients simultaneously. Service-based businesses, primarily lead generation — not e-commerce ROAS work.
End-to-end capability
High-converting ad copy, including effective use of AI tools. Strong understanding of creative — what works, why, and enough range to direct a creative team. Landing page fundamentals. Tracking and attribution setup. Clear, confident data analysis.
Communication
Excellent spoken English and confidence on video calls with UK and UAE business owners. You can make complex things simple without dumbing them down.
Reliability
You turn up to every meeting, hit every deadline, and raise problems early rather than late. In a remote team with client-facing work, this is non-negotiable, and it is assessed during probation.
