Homestead Studio We are an email marketing agency specializing in growing eCommerce brands by creating exciting, engaging, and personalized messaging across email and SMS channels. Our expertise in email and SMS marketing allows our clients to cultivate relationships with potential customers and build lasting relationships with current customers to create lifetime value. About the role As a Paid Social Account Manager at Homestead, you are the strategic owner of performance for an assigned portfolio of direct-to-consumer brands. You operate as the primary growth partner to founders, CMOs, and senior client stakeholders within the areas Homestead owns, accountable for scaling revenue, protecting profitability, and identifying the next ceiling before it is hit. You will lead strategy with confidence, make decisions rooted in data and financial modeling, and guide execution across paid social, creative systems, landing page optimization, and offer testing. This role is designed for someone who sees themselves as a business operator within paid media, not a channel executor. Success in this role requires the ability to translate performance data into clear business recommendations, set direction that others can execute, and manage a portfolio of brands with increasing independence over time. While this role does not have direct reports, it does require day-to-day oversight of the people working on assigned accounts to ensure strategy is executed to standard. Responsibilities Own revenue strategy and assist with forecasting for accounts spending $250k+/month, with clear accountability to growth targets and profitability guardrails. Manage a portfolio typically capped at approximately five brands, with aggregate monthly ad spend commonly ranging from $500k to $1M across the portfolio. Drive growth across your portfolio while protecting contribution margin and cash flow sustainability. Build and lead paid marketing strategy that agency and brand teams execute against, incorporating audience architecture, creative systems, incrementality, and long-term scale planning. Set account-specific rules for how campaigns should be launched, scaled, optimized, and paused, and communicate those standards clearly to execution support resources. Oversee the work of builders, creative strategists, and other support resources assigned to your accounts, providing clear direction, feedback, and quality control without formal direct-report responsibility. Jump into ad accounts as needed to audit work, diagnose issues, and correct execution when necessary, especially during onboarding, transition periods, or moments of performance risk. Lead landing page concept development, architect structured conversion rate optimization testing roadmaps, and design offer testing strategies that unlock incremental gains across the funnel. Diagnose scale ceilings before performance stalls and proactively design expansion strategies across creative, audience, and funnel levers. Make decisive, data-backed recommendations that balance growth velocity with financial risk management. Exercise judgment on when to act independently and when to escalate material performance, budget, execution, or client-risk issues. Deliver weekly performance reporting and maintain clear visibility into spend, revenue trends, blended marketing performance, and immediate return across managed brands. Present account performance updates on a defined cadence, including weekly meetings during the first month of a client engagement, ongoing biweekly meetings for established brands, and quarterly business reviews or equivalent strategic reviews based on client structure. Build and maintain reporting views in platforms such as Triple Whale and Northbeam so clients and internal teams are working from shared performance data. Communicate regularly with client stakeholders through scheduled meetings and day-to-day Slack communication to keep priorities, opportunities, and risks visible. Drive alignment across client and internal teams when priorities, risks, or growth opportunities require tradeoff decisions. Ramp to managing five brands within the first 90 days, including at least three brands operated with full day-to-day independence. Ensure each managed brand is either actively growing or operating against a clear strategy to return to growth. Contribute to client retention by pairing strong strategic guidance with consistent follow-through and high execution standards. Apply testing insights and shared learnings to improve account performance and strengthen execution across the broader team. Qualifications Proven experience managing $250k+/month paid social accounts with documented growth impact. Strong command of Meta advertising strategy and deep understanding of TikTok platform dynamics. Strong fluency in DTC financial metrics including contribution margin, CAC, LTV, blended performance metrics, and profitability modeling. Demonstrated success onboarding and scaling brands from launch through advanced growth stages. Track record of client retention and expansion across diverse verticals. Ability to operate independently while exercising strong judgment on escalation. Strong technical fluency in Ads Manager, with the ability to audit, troubleshoot, and refine account execution even when day-to-day building is delegated. Ability to translate technical marketing concepts into clear, confident recommendations for founders, CMOs, and other senior stakeholders. Strong preference for candidates with agency experience or similarly fast-paced, multi-account environments. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple brands, priorities, and cross-functional contributors at once. Experience providing account-level oversight, feedback, or informal mentorship to others working on shared deliverables. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience using third-party reporting dashboards, including Triple Whale and Northbeam. Ability to clearly direct campaign execution through builders, contractors, media buying support resources, or other execution partners Ten Great Reasons to Work at Verndale We are a rapidly growing company that is just as scrappy and entrepreneurial today as when we were founded in 1998.
