The Opportunity We are excited to expand our team of credentialed, pain‑focused physicians, including those with training or affiliation through the Canadian Academy of Pain Management, who are currently seeking part‑time opportunities providing virtual consultations on medical cannabis treatment. This includes Anesthesiologists, Physiatrists (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation), Neurologists, Rheumatologists, Orthopedic Surgeons, and General Practitioners with demonstrated pain management experience. The candidate can be licensed in any province. We offer: Full training provided Full administrative support Flexible days and hours An extensive multidisciplinary team Responsibilities Provide virtual consultations for veteran patients, using specialist expertise to review medical cannabis treatment plans prescribed by healthcare practitioners, determine if they are reasonable and necessary, and complete and submit relevant documentation. Provide pain management expertise and clinical recommendations to the interdisciplinary team regarding patient progress, treatment efficacy, functional outcomes, and barriers to optimal pain management. Help educate patients on the use of cannabis as a medicine Other duties assigned. Experience Medical degree and registration and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of your province Credentialed by the Canadian Academy of Pain Management Excellent communication skills, written and verbal in English Demonstrated ability to work independently and to manage a busy workload Team-oriented approach with existing team members and healthcare practitioners Highly organized with strong time management skills Informed and abreast of relevant scientific research and/or willing to learn more Previous work with veterans and/or medical cannabis is an asset Bilingualism is an asset Other Details This is a part-time position based remotely in Canada. #LI-Remote
