- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, assist with gathering necessary information and evidence, and provide updates throughout the case process.
- Legal Research: Conduct legal and country conditions research to support attorneys with case preparation.
- Case Management: Monitor case progress, maintain organized records, and assist in meeting important deadlines.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys and other team members to ensure effective coordination and smooth case management.
- Relevant Experience: Previous hands-on experience in U.S. immigration law, particularly asylum and removal defense proceedings, is required. Familiarity with EOIR and USCIS procedures is highly preferred.
- Language Skills: Strong English and Turkish communication skills, particularly in speaking, reading, and understanding professional and legal documents.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to prepare accurate, well-organized documents and maintain high-quality work standards.
- Problem-Solving Skills: A proactive approach to identifying challenges, researching possible solutions, and communicating effectively with attorneys and team members.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
- Interpersonal Skills: A professional, patient, and empathetic approach to communicating with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Team-Oriented Mindset: Willingness to collaborate, receive feedback, and continuously learn and improve.
- Availability: Must be available to work from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM PT (Pacific Time).
- A supportive, collaborative, and growth-oriented work environment
- 100% remote work flexibility
- Opportunities to expand your knowledge and experience in U.S. immigration law
- Meaningful responsibilities and hands-on experience with immigration cases
- Ongoing professional development and opportunities for career advancement
- A team that values communication, teamwork, and individual contributions
