Part-Time Furniture CAD Drafter — Vietnam (Remote/Contract)

Poly & Bark, a US-based direct-to-consumer furniture brand, is looking for an experienced Furniture CAD Drafter to join our product development team on a part-time contract basis, supporting our Vietnam supply base.

What you'll do:

• Convert sketches, reference images, and design direction into factory-ready technical drawings
• Produce complete drawing packages: overall and component dimensions, sections, joinery details, hardware locations, assembly instructions, material callouts, and tolerances
• Review designs for manufacturability, structural integrity, and practical construction — not just drafting to spec
• Revise drawings quickly based on sample reviews, factory feedback, and engineering changes
• Catch dimensional conflicts, unclear construction, or missing information before drawings go to the factory floor

What we're looking for:

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (required); Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar 3D CAD experience is a plus
• Solid understanding of furniture construction: solid wood, veneer, engineered wood, metal, upholstery, joinery, and hardware
• Experience with residential furniture categories — casegoods, tables, chairs, stools, lounge seating, sofas, beds — preferred
• Experience working with export furniture manufacturers serving the US or European market strongly preferred
• Sharp attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal oversight
