I. Job Summary Under management direction, a Remote Hospital Services Technician provides service to a customer healthcare facility located outside the boundaries of service established for existing service teams. These healthcare facilities most often are located within a small labor market, and are considered remote to normal business operations. Often, the remote facility is an hour away from other healthcare facilities serviced by the Company. Remote Hospital Service Technicians generally work a minimum of 10 hours or less per week. Team members within the local small labor market typically are responsible to service a single healthcare facility. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provides service to one or more customers' healthcare facilities, proactively monitoring, collecting, and exchanging waste containers consistent with the various Stericycle programs and services, including but not limited to: Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substance and Document Management. Interacts professionally with onsite customer staff to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded. Maintains a rigid collection and service schedule. Communicates duty status on a defined scheduled. Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned. III. Qualifications A. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 2 years of related experience, customer service preferred, or the equivalent in related work experience, B. Preferred Qualifications IV.
