As a HR Operations Specialist at DLL, this part-time role (22 hours per week) is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave within our team. Your role will touch every area of a generalist HR position, and you will sit in the heart of a fast-paced financial services business with a small HR team. You will have a passion for delivering a great service, you will be comfortable with handling queries from managers and employees on a variety of topics including learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, talent management and anything else that happens to land on our desk. You will support our operations across the UK and Ireland, ensuring efficient, accurate, and employee-focused HR service delivery. Find out more here about how you can unleash your full potential at DLL. Day to day: Dealing with all aspects of the employee onboarding and offboarding process. Respond to HR related queries, provide managers and members with support on how to access information regarding payroll, compensation, benefits and HR policies. Pro-actively manage the HR Helpdesk request and HR mailbox, working closely with the team, ensuring our members, managers and external contracts receive timely responses, and allocating work tasks across the team as appropriate. Learning and Development Training administration and co-ordination. Assist in the coordination and monitoring of training completion for all relevant staff. Continue to develop and maintain the “MyDLL UK HR” member intranet content. Support on Wellbeing initiatives to deliver our Choose Wellbeing strategy. Support member wellbeing. Support with pulling together bi-monthly HR newsletter & ad hoc communications. Administration of all employee lifecycle activities and employee contractual changes using HR database; continually seeking ways to automate or innovate our ways of working, whilst also offering guidance and support to manager, members and the HR team. Assist with maintaining HR activity trackers and update process notes when process improvements are made. Supporting various HR projects and initiatives. End of month headcount and ad hoc reporting. Input accurate data for monthly payroll cycle. Liaise directly with Compliance over any issues that occur and deliver appropriate activity in support of Financial Conduct Authority - Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR). To be successful in the role you will have/be: Previous HR experience in a similar role. Able to work in a confidential, professional manner without constant supervision. Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail. Structured, planned, organised. Self-accountability for role responsibilities. Excellent ability to align HR priorities with the wider business and operational requirements. A flexible approach to work tasks. Customer focused with good communication skills. A team player. Intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint, Outlook and HR Information systems. Extras: Level 3 CIPD qualification or HR related degree. Previous experience in learning and development administration and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
