  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs, including small-group instruction and targeted interventions.

  • Use student assessment data to monitor progress, identify learning gaps, and adjust instruction.

  • Incorporate creative instructional strategies, technology, and hands-on activities to encourage curiosity and critical thinking.

Classroom Culture & Student Development

  • Establish clear routines, positive behavior expectations, and effective classroom management practices.

  • Foster strong, meaningful relationships that create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to learn.

  • Encourage independence, responsibility, collaboration, and age-appropriate social-emotional skills.

  • Supervise students during assigned activities, recess, and transitions to promote safety and positive behavior.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Communicate relevant student progress and concerns with families and school staff as appropriate.

  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administration to ensure instructional consistency and student success.

  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences or school activities as assigned and appropriate to the part-time schedule.

Professional Responsibilities

  • Participate in relevant team meetings, professional development, and instructional planning as scheduled.

  • Reflect on instructional practices and incorporate feedback to strengthen student outcomes.

  • Follow school policies, safety procedures, and assigned student supervision responsibilities.

  • Contribute positively to a collaborative, student-centered learning environment.
