Note: This posting is to collect resumes for upcoming Part-Time Professor positions (up to 6 hours per week) for the Winter 2027 semester, running from January 2027 to April 2027. Additional part-time teaching opportunities may also be available for the 2027 Summer and Fall semesters.

The Norton Wolf School of Aerospace, Information & Defence Technologies is looking to establish a pool of applicants for the upcoming Winter academic term to fill vacancies as they arise, succession plan, and expand our current part-time faculty team.

Why This Role Is Important

Reporting to the Program Manager of Norton Wolf School of Aviation and Aerospace Technology, part-time Professors are responsible for teaching courses within the programs and developing an effective learning environment for students. 

Program Details

We require faculty qualified to teach across the following areas:

• Aviation Technician – Maintenance
• Aviation Technician – Avionics
• Aviation Technician – Structures

What You’ll Bring

• Licensed Aviation Technician: M, E or S – Maintenance, Avionics or Structures
• Excellent communication, team building and leadership and computer skills are expected
• Prior teaching experience in an academic setting is an asset

• Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
• Excellent communicator
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
• Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required
• Teaching experience with face-to face and online delivery preferred
• Related industry work experience, previous College or Apprenticeship teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets
