Partner Account Manager, Ecosystem Development

The Partner Account Manager, Ecosystem Development identifies and develops strategic opportunities across the construction technology ecosystem. This role combines market intelligence, partnership development, and industry engagement to help Nemetschek Build anticipate market shifts, strengthen Bluebeam’s ecosystem, and inform product, go-to-market, and corporate development decisions.
The successful candidate will build relationships with emerging and established industry players, translate market and customer signals into actionable recommendations, and lead initiatives that create measurable partner and business value.
About the Role:
Market Intelligence & Ecosystem Strategy
- Responsible Monitor construction technology, customer workflows, business models, and enabling technologies to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with venture capital communities, accelerators, founders, corporate innovation leaders, academic partners, customers, and industry organizations—including facilitating and creating opportunities with Nemetschek Ventures.
- Develop structured market insights and quarterly briefings for product, sales, strategy, and leadership teams.
- Identify opportunities to introduce Bluebeam SDK capabilities and other platform tools into emerging workflows, integrations, and ecosystem experiments.
- Maintain a prioritized view of strategic market opportunities, informed by customer needs, competitive dynamics, and Bluebeam’s product and segment priorities.
Partnership Development & Commercial Execution
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with construction technology vendors, contractors, owners, integration partners, and ecosystem facilitators.
- Create partner strategies that align technical capabilities, joint value propositions, and go-to-market opportunities.
- Lead partner readiness activities, including onboarding, enablement, training, certification, and technical coordination for SDK-based integrations.
- Identify, qualify, and advance high-value partner opportunities in collaboration with internal sales, product, engineering, marketing, finance, and operations teams.
- Own commercial aspects of partner pilots and proof-of-concept initiatives, including objectives, stakeholder alignment, success measures, and next-step recommendations.
- Serve as a cross-functional connector between partners and internal product, strategy, and go-to-market teams to ensure initiatives support roadmap and business priorities.
- Coordinate cross-brand opportunities across the Nemetschek Group that enable connected workflows, BIM-enabled solutions, and digital-twin-related value.
Strategic Initiatives
- Evaluate strategic alliances, investments, and acquisition opportunities in partnership with corporate development, finance, and product teams.
- Support commercial due diligence through market sizing, competitive analysis, customer validation, partnership assessment, and strategic recommendations.
- Design and execute joint initiatives that validate new workflows, integrations, and go-to-market strategies.
Thought Leadership & Industry Engagement
- Represent Nemetschek Build at industry events, conferences, accelerators, panels, and other ecosystem forums.
- Communicate informed points of view on construction technology, digital workflows, field productivity, safety, sustainability, and ecosystem strategy.
- Develop internal playbooks, briefings, and enablement materials that help teams understand and respond to market and ecosystem changes.
About You:
- 8+ years in construction technology, ecosystem development, venture/startup strategy, corporate innovation, or closely related fields.
- Bachelors Degree in architecture, engineering, business or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of construction workflows, particularly field operations, project delivery, and general contractor/construction manager environments.
- Demonstrated success developing and managing strategic partnerships, including joint go-to-market plans, commercial structures, partner enablement, and integration programs.
- Ability to synthesize ambiguous market, customer, and partner signals into clear recommendations, priorities, and action plans.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and influence skills; able to align stakeholders across product, engineering, sales, marketing, finance, customer success, and corporate development.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to accommodate up to 50% travel.

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. Base Pay Range: $129,400 - $161,800 + Annual bonus
