Your Impact
As a Partner Inventory Manager, you will handle end-to-end inventory and supply processes with assigned contract manufacturers or Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs). You will serve as a primary contact for manufacturing partners, ensuring alignment with Cisco’s supply chain requirements, performance metrics, and process improvements. Your work will directly influence our ability to complete business plans and deliver high-quality
products.
- Lead end-to-end inventory and supply management processes with assigned contract manufacturers or ODM partners.
- Develop, implement, and maintain inventory and supply processes to ensure operational efficiency.
- Prepare and deliver reports on process progress and outcomes to internal collaborators and manufacturing partners.
- Analyze interdependencies between business processes and supply chain metrics.
- Lead transformational project work to improve business processes and supply chain systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field, plus 7 or more years of professional experience in manufacturing or supply chain.
- Detailed professional experience handling end-to-end inventory and supply processes with contract manufacturers or ODM partners.
- Professional experience applying manufacturing processes, procedures, and lean principles within an industrial environment.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating and communicating requirements with internal teams and external supplier organizations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration (MBA) or a related quantitative field.
- Experience in leading cross-functional project teams to deliver process or system improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to function optimally within a virtual, global team environment.
- Experience in reporting performance metrics to executive leadership or external partners.
- Experience running complex supply chain data sets to drive business outcomes.
