We are looking for a Patent Drafting Senior Analyst to join our Prep and pros team in Noida. About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in drafting and prosecution services and especially working on patent drafting and SEP support.

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Telecommunication domain.

  • Ability to perform prepare patent application from minimal available invention disclosures.

  • Deep Knowledge in Wireless Communication standards (3G, LTE, LTE-A, 5G, IEEE Standards)

  • Good understanding of Electrical circuits, control systems and VLSI technologies

  • Knowledge of Intellectual Property (IP) fundamentals and US Patent laws

  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and other tools that may be required for day-to-day work

It would be great if you also had . . .

  • PhD in Electronics and communication or any related field

  • Standard essentiality analysis expertise

  • IP and/or telecom related certifications

  • Knowledge of US, IN, EP, KR and JP patent laws

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Draft high-quality patent applications, including specifications, claims, abstracts, and drawings coordination, based on invention disclosures, prior art searches, and technical analyses.

  • Perform end-to-end patent prosecution activities, including responding to Office Actions across jurisdictions (e.g., US, EP, IN, KR, CN), and collaborating with foreign associates.

  • Conduct invention mining sessions and work closely with inventors to identify patentable subject matter and refine claim strategies.

  • Ensure ownership of deliverables from initial drafting through filing and prosecution, maintaining consistency, accuracy, and strategic alignment with client objectives.

  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, clients, and attorneys to provide updates, clarify technical aspects, and drive projects to completion.

  • Adhere to defined timelines, SLAs, and project schedules while managing multiple priorities efficiently.

  • Continuously upgrade technical and legal knowledge in emerging domains such as AI/ML, 5G/6G, IoT, semiconductors, and software-based innovations.

  • Ensure strict adherence to organizational policies, confidentiality standards, and compliance requirements.

  • Perform rigorous quality assurance by complying with established drafting and prosecution standards, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet or exceed client expectations.

About the Team

The team of 40+ colleagues primarily working on drafting and prosecution projects related to Electrical, Telecommunication and allied technologies. This team helps customers from based out of US, APAC, and EMEA regions.

Hours of Work

  • This is a full-time role requiring 40 working hours per week based out of Noida, India (IST).

  • Work Mode-Hybrid
