Role Description

This is a contract role for a Payment Systems Specialist. This role focuses on building, enhancing, and maintaining robust payment processing solutions, including gateways, payment portals, and retail credit card systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with payment system implementation, head devices, token management, and end-to-end transaction workflows. This is a remote role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance payment processing systems, including integration with gateways and payment portals.

• Support implementation of retail credit card processing and head device solutions.

• Manage and optimize tokenization processes for secure transaction handling.

• Administer and execute operational procedures to support payment technology infrastructure.

• Identify and resolve issues related to payment products and services.

• Contribute to project management and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong background in payment systems architecture and implementation.

• Experience working with payment gateways, terminals/head devices, and credit card processing platforms.

• Knowledge of token management and security best practices in financial transactions.

• Familiarity with project management methodologies and process improvement.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
