Location: Limassol, Cyprus (hybrid).

Role Purpose
You will be at the operational core of NAGA's payment infrastructure, processing incoming and outgoing payments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring every transaction is handled with precision and in full compliance with regulatory requirements. In a regulated financial environment, getting payments right is not just an operational requirement, it is a direct reflection of the trust clients and partners place in us. You will work closely with Treasury, Finance, Compliance, and external banking partners to keep the payment engine running smoothly every day.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing payments (SEPA, SWIFT, card, e-wallet, and local payment methods) through banking platforms.
• Prepare supplier and intra-group payment batches for approval, following the four-eyes principle and authorization limits.
• Monitor cash positions and balances across bank accounts and flag funding needs to Treasury.
• Respond to payment queries from Customer Support and other internal teams.
• Maintain accurate payment records and audit trails, and support internal/external audits and regulatory reporting.
• Contribute to improving payment workflows, controls, and automation, and help test new payment methods and system changes.
• Keep payment procedures and work instructions up to date.
• Build and maintain relationships with banking partners.
• Maintain and provide access to key personnel for bank accounts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in payments processing, treasury operations, back office, or finance, ideally in banking, fintech, payments, forex/brokerage, or e-commerce.
• Good knowledge of payment rails and methods (SEPA, SWIFT, cards, e-wallets, APMs) and of reconciliation processes.
• Understanding of AML/KYC principles and fraud prevention in payments.
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations).
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work to tight daily deadlines.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Analytical problem-solving and investigation skills.
• Clear communication with internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to prioritize and stay calm under time pressure.
• Integrity and discretion with confidential financial data.
• Team player who is proactive about improving processes.
