Reporting to the EMEA Payroll Manager, you are responsible for the accurate and timely processing of employee payrolls and oversight of payroll taxes and benefits payments for Germany, the Nordics and the Netherlands. In the future there could be more responsibility for other countries handed over. You manage regular and irregular payments in addition to year-end activities. You evaluate current payroll and time management systems, recommending and operating efficiency improvements as well as participating in key projects. Additionally, you will be supporting implementation and enhancement projects for the EMEA region. Manage all payroll transactions for assigned countries. Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all payroll transactions, both regular and irregular payments, for assigned geographies. Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all related time and attendance transactions. Administrate the Employers Pension scheme. Perform regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance. Adhering to company policies and controls, making sure that a strong control environment is aligned on all entities which you are responsible for. Support all internal and external payroll and time management audits. Managing the time and attendance system as connection point for local stakeholders for the countries in charge including supporting implementation and improvement projects. Answer questions from associates and managers regarding payroll matters, records, deductions and procedures. Ensure all related documentation provided to associates as required (for example, confirmation of employment, etc.). Identify, develop and implement process improvements as it relates to the administration of payroll and attendance management. Participate on projects as required (process improvements or digitalization projects). Recommend/initiate countermeasures. Keeping documentation of payroll related processes up to date. Graduated with a bachelor or master degree. Minimum 5 years’ experience related with payroll. Ability to apply complex analytical and critical thinking skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong knowledge of German payroll legislation and related requirements, other countries are an asset. Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint and Excel. Proficiency with Oracle and ProTime T&A System are an asset. Languages: German and English, other languages are an asset. #CA-JN
