To support our continued growth in Ireland we are seeking a Payroll Executive to join our team in SD Worx Ireland on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing, fast paced international business and join a large payroll team full of experienced professionals where you can develop your skills and experience.
About the role:
As a Payroll Executive, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, compliant payroll services to a portfolio of clients while providing an excellent customer experience. Working as part of a supportive and experienced team, you will help ensure payroll deadlines are met, client relationships are maintained, and service excellence is consistently delivered.
Which tasks can you expect?
- Manage end-to-end Irish payroll processing for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Validate payroll data, perform payroll checks, and resolve discrepancies before payroll submission.
- Ensure compliance with Irish payroll legislation, tax regulations, statutory payments, pensions, and GDPR requirements.
- Respond to payroll-related queries from clients, employees, and internal stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate payroll payments, reporting, year-end activities, and required submissions to relevant authorities.
- Produce payroll reports, reconciliations, and audit documentation as required.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing a high level of customer service and support.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the payroll team.
What do you have to offer?
Essential
- Experience working in a high-volume payroll environment, either in-house or bureau.
- Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
- IPASS qualified or currently working towards qualification.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
- Strong customer service, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- A proactive approach with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
Desirable
- UK payroll experience.
- Experience supporting payroll audits and process improvement initiatives.
