Our services enable businesses to hire, manage, and pay employees internationally with ease. We are committed to providing seamless and efficient solutions to our clients and fostering a dynamic and inclusive work environment for our team.

Position Overview

RecruitGo is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end payroll processing and provide reliable payroll support across assigned client accounts. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely salary payments, maintaining payroll records, complying with applicable statutory requirements, and addressing payroll-related inquiries from clients and employees.

The ideal candidate has hands-on payroll processing experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a multi-client setting, such as a payroll bureau, BPO, HR outsourcing, or accounting services firm, is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

End-to-End Payroll Processing

  • Manage full-cycle payroll processing, including monthly, semi-monthly, and ad hoc payroll runs for assigned client accounts.

  • Collect, validate, and process payroll inputs, including timesheets, overtime, bonuses, commissions, unpaid leave, and expense reimbursements.

  • Calculate gross-to-net salaries, statutory deductions, taxes, social security contributions, pensions, and other applicable benefits.

  • Generate and distribute digital payslips to employees within agreed deadlines.

  • Prepare bank transfer files and coordinate timely salary disbursements.

  • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure the confidentiality and security of employee payroll information.

Client Relationship and Communication

  • Serve as the primary payroll contact for assigned client HR and finance teams.

  • Support new client onboarding by configuring payroll setups, pay structures, employee master data, and service agreements.

  • Investigate and resolve client and employee inquiries concerning salary calculations, tax withholdings, deductions, and payroll adjustments.

  • Conduct regular payroll alignment meetings and reviews with client representatives.

  • Communicate payroll updates, discrepancies, and potential issues clearly and promptly to relevant stakeholders.

Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure payroll calculations and processing comply with applicable local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.

  • Prepare and submit statutory reports and payroll-related documentation within required deadlines.

  • Reconcile payroll data and verify the accuracy of calculations before finalizing each payroll run.

  • Identify payroll discrepancies, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.

  • Recommend improvements to payroll processes, controls, and reporting procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • At least 2–3 years of hands-on payroll processing experience.

  • Experience handling end-to-end payroll, including payroll calculations, statutory deductions, reconciliations, and salary disbursements.

  • Previous experience managing multiple client accounts in a payroll bureau, BPO, HR outsourcing, or accounting services environment is strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency in payroll software or HRIS platforms, such as Talenta, Gadjian, SunFish, or similar systems.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, and logical formulas.

  • Strong knowledge of applicable local statutory deductions, labor laws, income tax calculations, and statutory reporting requirements.

  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and client relationship management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple payroll deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work independently.

  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential payroll and employee information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting payroll for multiple clients with different payroll structures and requirements.

  • Familiarity with payroll automation, data reconciliation, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Ability to troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and communicate technical payroll matters in a clear, client-friendly manner.
