The role focuses on all phases of system implementation support, including gathering information from clients, working closely with system vendors, conducting verification tests of post-configuration settings and content, and providing post-implementation support. A successful candidate is a professional with deep knowledge of payroll processing in the U.S. and strong communication skills with multiple stakeholders, and someone who can take a strong lead on implementation and is proactive while paying close attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: • Lead payroll system implementation projects, including gathering information, coordinating with vendors, performing post-configuration verification, and providing support during go-live • Manage client expectations, project schedules, deliverables, and overall project quality • Execute the migration of payroll systems from legacy systems and perform data migration • Analyze client payroll processes and design optimized system solutions • Configure payroll systems (such as ADP or similar platforms) in collaboration with vendors based on client requirements • May provide training to internal service operators and post-implementation support to ensure a smooth rollout • Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations during system configuration • Create and maintain documentation, including implementation guides and standard operating procedures • Support continuous improvement initiatives for payroll system implementation methodologies • Participate in internal projects and service development initiatives as needed • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: *Education/ Experience: • (Preferred) Associate’s degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent practical experience • (REQUIRED) Experience in payroll processing at 2 or more companies, or experience implementing payroll systems • (REQUIRED) Experience in system implementation, project management, or business process improvement • (REQUIRED) Recent practical experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) payroll processing and/or system implementation. • (Preferred) Experience with other payroll systems, including Gusto, UKG Pro, and/or UKG Ready. • (Preferred) Practical experience in payroll environments spanning multiple companies or states • (Preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) • (Preferred) Experience with data migration, system integration, or API-based systems • (Preferred) Experience with automation tools or AI technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform) • (Preferred) Experience with cross-functional or customer-facing project management *Fundamental Skills: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Japanese preferred) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within tight deadlines • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills • Ability to translate business requirements into technical/system solutions • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset in resolving complex issues • Strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment • High level of accountability and commitment to quality and client satisfaction • Ability to align work with PASONA’s business goals and service standards * Salary: $70,000-90,000 (Base Salary) + Profit sharing * Classifications: Exempt, Full-time (40 hours/week) * Work schedule: Mon-Fri 9am- 6pm * Benefits: Health Ins, Dental Ins, Vision Ins, 401K, PTO, Paid Holiday * Location: Office-based Hybrid work in New York, NY; Atlanta, GA; Schaumburg, IL; Houston, TX; Torrance, CA; San Jose, CA; preferred.
