About the role
The Actuarial Reserving Analyst supports monthly storm reserve analysis, quarterly reserve analyses across all lines, loss development studies, and advanced research across multiple P&C lines. This role performs deep-dive actuarial analyses, interprets emerging loss trends, partners closely with Claims and Finance, and contributes to the refinement of methodologies and assumptions. The position is part of the actuarial exam program and includes dedicated study time.How does this role make an impact?
- Develops and maintains spreadsheet, database and reserving software files for reserve analyses. - Inputs reserves to the general ledger. Verifies and monitors account balances. - Uses data query programs to obtain data from company data sources. Reviews data for accuracy and reasonableness. - Conducts loss and loss adjustment reserve analyses, according to financial reporting requirements. - Communicates results to direct management and/or company management, verbally, in writing, or in presentation form.Do you have what we're looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of P&C actuarial experience.
Successful progress toward ACAS (3–6 exams preferred)
Base Pay Range:
$91,600-$125,950The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.
Incentive Pay:
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
